Sometimes I just feel a little strange, why do I feel that the draft is better than the final?

Anyway here is my Finial in Rendered and Shaded mode: 




And the process:

(It's so hard to choose one idea from those drafts.) 

(The second logo in the first row really caught my eye, prahaps I should choose this one as my finial？）



And the part about how the logo look like in 3D model:

(I forgot how to fit the "Hatch" surface onto the 3D model, so I just choose use "Polyline" to recreate the closed lines, turn the lins into a 3D model logo, move the 3D model logo to the right position,  hen use "Boolean Split" to create a nice "surface," and finial, delete the original 3D model logo.)

 Hello :) For this "castle," I decided to go with a slightly "easier" approach, almost no circles or curves. Honestly, I really think building with circles and curves is way harder than just sticking to cubes and rectangular prisms. Curves will give you more creative freedom, but anyway, putting together a castle with clean, straight rectangular prisms feels sooo satisfying, that every piece is neatly controlled. I mainly used " Box ," " BooleanDifference ," " Polyline ," " Mirror ," and " Rotate " for this castle, but honestly, I just clicked on their icons from the left toolbar since I didn't remember all the names, oops.  Note to self: if you're decorating all four sides of a building, don't forget to use "Rotate." I totally skipped it once, and then couldn't figure out why some sides of my columns ended up looking bare... mystery solved! The biggest challenge with this castle was that I ...

Castle -- "Chinese Architecture" (OBDF110_F2024)

I'm very interested in Chinese architecture so I did some research on the style and color of traditional Chinese architecture. Most traditional Chinese architecture is reddish brown and gold in color, and the wood carvings on the buildings are very distinctive. I tried to show this style, but my ability is limited. And I found that it difficult to adjust a suitable building color and background. Until now, the overall tone of the building I built is not harmonious and I don't know how to improve it. :(
